We’re super excited about the launch of Dark Mode for Medisafers using Apple devices as part of Apple’s iOS 13 launch this month. We know some of you are too, considering this (ouch, ONE star!) review from along-time Medisafer Kalinskym.
What’s iOS 13?
Among the enhancements with iOS 13 are Dark Mode, a Find My app, a revamped Photos app, new Siri voice, updated privacy features, new street-level view for Maps, and more. Dark mode will be completely in your control if you want to use it, and can be set to run all day long or just changeover at night.
When will it be available?
No dates are confirmed yet as to when Apple will launch – although there are plenty of rumors – and there’s a couple of steps that have to happen first:
- First Apple will release the iOS 13 code and you’ll be asked to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. This could happen on or about Sept. 16.
- The Medisafe Team will submit our updated version for approval by the Apple team about that time, and if approved, could be ready as part of the full iOS 13 public rollout on or about Sept 18.
How will I know?
You’ll see the auto-update become available to you – we’re calling the Medisafe update version 6.3.0. We’ll describe more in the “What’s New” section and how to go to settings on your phone to enable Dark Mode.
